Real Racing announced today its first driver for the 2026 season. The revealed name was that of the Danish driver Knud Nielsen, a racer who has made a name for himself on the international karting scene and is now ready to step up to the next category.
For the Romanian team led by Constantin Raileanu, the commitment in the Italian Formula 4 Championship and the E4 Championship represents a steady and continuously growing path, which in 2026 aims to field a three-car attack on the grid.
The team is now well-versed in single-seater competitions promoted by ACI Sport and WSK Promotion, having in the past managed to finish races with their car in the top 10.
The announcement came through the team’s official channels:
“Following a successful career in karting, featuring podiums in Le Mans, Bahrain and at the inaugural FIA Karting arrive-and-drive World Cup in Malaysia, the 17-year old Danish ace makes the natural move towards single seater racing. Our association is aimed to tackle the most competitive national F4 championship - the Italian one, with his yearly schedule continuing in the E4 series.
Knud’s campaign will start at Misano, with further visits at Vallelunga, Monza, Mugello and Imola for a total of seven rounds spanning from May to November. Our joint aim is to adapt to the new category and gain confidence in a tight, classy field where Nielsen surely fits in.”
